Restore the default Codex appearance
Remove the runtime skin safely and return to stock Codex.
Close active work
Let current tasks finish and save anything you need before closing the themed window.
Run Restore
On macOS, use Restore Codex Dream Skin.command. On Windows, follow the repository restore workflow.
Confirm the debug session stopped
The themed session should close and the local injector should no longer be attached.
Launch Codex normally
Open Codex from its standard shortcut and confirm the stock appearance is back.
Troubleshoot cleanly
After an app update, restore first, verify normal Codex, then review upstream compatibility notes.
