Codex Skin Lab is an independent community resource for people who want to discover, create, and apply visual themes for Codex Desktop. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by OpenAI.
What we publish
Every downloadable original theme has its own artwork, settings, author, creation date, license, instructions, and integrity checks. Theme pages state what is inside the ZIP and link to the applicable license.
What the builder does
The builder converts an image you already have into a theme package inside your browser. It does not generate a new image and does not upload your selected source image to Codex Skin Lab.
How tutorials are reviewed
Codex Skin Lab checks installation and recovery instructions against the source links listed on each guide. A visible review date tells you when that comparison happened; current project instructions remain the reference if the software changes later.
Who is responsible for the content
Codex Skin Lab writes and reviews the site as an organization. We distinguish official Codex features, the separate Dream Skin community tool, and our own recommendations so readers can judge the source of each claim.
How original artwork is identified
Original theme pages name Codex Skin Lab as the creator, show the creation date, and link the CSL Original Asset License. Uploaded artwork stays the user's responsibility and may have different rights.
Corrections and changing software
If a guide no longer matches the linked project, use the current project instructions and stop before running an uncertain command. Review dates are updated only after the relevant guide is checked again.
